| CHOCOLATE: Songs of Love
What do you get when you combine 12 luscious songs, smooth vocals and rich, delightful orchestrations? CHOCOLATE: Songs of Love is the answer! This is an album you will want to keep at the top of your play list! So sit back and enjoy the easy-listening jazzy vocals and have some of your favorite chocolates! This album is dedicated to Deborah's grandmother, an immigrant from Italy who played violin in Carnegie Hall when she was 17. She then graduated from the New York Conservatory of Music in 1920, quite a feat for a woman at that time. After entering an arranged marriage and having a dozen children, she never played again. Even though she is gone from this life, her gift lives on. Deborah has never had to quit creating music because of culture or society restraints and hopes to keep the arts alive for both men and women of this and future generations. SONGS: ITEM OF INTEREST: *all songs original except #5 by Cole Porter, #8 by Harold Arlen and #9 by Bergman/Legrand |
